Called a mobile mechanic because I broke a bolt attempting a DIY job.
Embarrassed, I called the first mobile mechanic I found.
I was expecting someone either to not show up or to be patronising about my mistake.
But Bob was extremely nice and friendly and allowed me to help watch and help.
We managed to remove the broken bolt and even sourced a new one at the last second, we replaced the gasket that needed replacing in just a couple of hours.
Would definitely call again! It’s good to have a bit of expertise around even for attempting some DIY.
Also didn’t seem to want to charge me all that much for the time we spent.

Call me to arrange a time and place suitable for the work you need carried out.
I am a fully mobile service, so no need to bring your vehicle to me.
All work will be completed on your vehicle, with you kept informed of costs and the best solution to keep your vehicle in shape.
For repairs requiring bespoke part replacements - payment for the parts will be required upfront with a receipt provided.
Once all work has been completed, my invoice will be due for payment.
I accept payment via cash or bank transfer.
Your warranty date will be included within your invoice.
Taking bookings between the following hours;
Mon - Fri: 9am - 6pm
Sat: 10am - 3pm
